It's not too cold in the lagoon at Island Dolphin Care, but for these skinny little bones it's chilly, even in Key Largo, in April.

Laila, Eli her special needs therapist and the photographer-special-needs-teacher-in-training-intern make up 3/5ths of the team, Fiji and his trainer are waiting nearby.

Rewards for Words
Operant conditioning brings Laila to a reward for speaking her needs to Eli. She gets to kiss Fiji. She did not say this, but it's a bit like kissing a boiled egg.

Fiji Visits Our World
Fiji, 5, was born in this lagoon, Laila, 3, was born in her home, not two miles away. They are both full-blow Conch's!
